Savings is a product family that uses ARCO vaults to provide exposure to return strategies for different assets. It includes stablecoin Savings and crypto-native Savings. Users choose a product that matches their risk profile by reviewing its deposit asset, strategy, loss exposure and liquidity conditions.

## Stablecoin Savings

Stablecoin Savings is designed for users to deposit arcoUSD and receive sarcoUSD. sarcoUSD is a product token representing the quantity held in the relevant Savings vault and participation in its performance. The payment and redemption functions of ordinary arcoUSD are separate from Savings exposure to returns and losses.

| Stage | User flow |
| - | - |
| Participation | Deposit arcoUSD → issue and receive sarcoUSD at the applicable price |
| Holding | Check holding value using the sarcoUSD quantity and valuation price |
| Redemption | Process sarcoUSD → pay out arcoUSD according to the Savings specifications |
| Stablecoin withdrawal | Exchange the arcoUSD received through an ArcoUSD redemption route |

One unit of sarcoUSD is not always equal in value to one unit of arcoUSD. The Savings specifications govern how returns, losses and costs are reflected, the price unit, and redemption quotes. Where performance is reflected through price while token quantity remains unchanged, performance changes the holding's valuation rather than its token count.

The step of receiving arcoUSD from Savings and the step of redeeming arcoUSD for USDC, USDT or RLUSD are described separately. Even if a combined withdrawal screen is provided, it shows each step's price, costs and liquidity conditions, together with the final amount received.

## Crypto-native Savings

Crypto-native Savings connects strategies for assets such as ETH and XRP to ARCO vault products. It aims to offer access to institutional-level strategies that may be difficult for individual users to access, through each product's eligibility conditions and the vault's deposit, valuation and redemption structure.

| Component | Conditions defined for the product |
| - | - |
| Deposit asset | The underlying asset, supported network and token form |
| Strategy | Manager and protocol, capital allocation, and sources of performance and loss |
| Product token | Quantity held, valuation unit and rights |
| Recovery and redemption | Capital recovery conditions and waiting period, payout asset and liquidity routes |

Each asset-specific product has its own strategy, price, token and terms. ETH and XRP products are not interchangeable with stablecoin Savings or sarcoUSD, and are not assumed to have a fixed dollar value. Supported asset forms and networks are defined in the relevant product specifications.

## Risk profile and product selection

Users compare price exposure, sources of returns, strategy and counterparty risks, capital recovery periods and costs. Access to institutional-level strategies does not guarantee principal or returns. Each strategy's performance and losses are reflected in the relevant product's valuation.

Stablecoin Savings is described according to the conditions of its dollar assets and strategies; crypto-native Savings follows the relevant asset's price, strategy and recovery conditions. A single fixed return or risk rating is not applied to every product.

## Standard and Instant Redemption

Savings Standard Redemption follows the relevant strategy's recovery and settlement conditions. Products offering Instant Redemption connect to an Internal Liquidity Sleeve or the OTC Network and apply redemption fees.

The scope of internal balances and OTC quotes, the asset received after redemption, and token processing are defined for each product. If a lock, recovery wait or liquidity shortage applies, the available routes and expected payout schedule are communicated.

## Performance and rights

The Savings specifications and contracts define the valuation and allocation of strategy returns, costs, loss allocation, and product token holders' claims. Where returns from ArcoUSD reserves are connected to Savings, the scope reflected in Savings and the authoritative record are specified. If automatic reinvestment or separate cash distributions are offered, their procedures and treatment in the price are described separately.

## Frequently asked questions

### How do arcoUSD and sarcoUSD differ?

arcoUSD is a payment and redemption token under normal dollar exchange conditions. sarcoUSD provides exposure to stablecoin Savings performance. Its valuation price can change with returns, losses and costs.

### Does my sarcoUSD quantity increase when returns are generated?

In a structure that reflects performance through price, the quantity stays unchanged while the valuation changes. For example, assume, excluding fees, that the valuation price of 1 sarcoUSD changes from 1.00 to 1.02 arcoUSD. The value of 1,000 sarcoUSD would then change from the equivalent of 1,000 to 1,020 arcoUSD. A price decrease would also reduce the valuation. This example does not state an actual return or payout amount.

### Can I withdraw directly from Savings into USDC?

The core flow is sarcoUSD redemption → receipt of arcoUSD → redemption into a supported stablecoin. Even if a combined withdrawal screen is offered, check the price, costs and liquidity conditions for each step and the final amount received.

### How do I redeem if Instant is unavailable?

Check the product's Standard route and recovery and payout schedule. The product guide governs strategy waiting or recovery restrictions and price finalization conditions. For a submitted request, check its progress in the transaction history first.

### Do ETH and XRP products also issue sarcoUSD?

Crypto-native Savings uses asset-specific product tokens and valuation conventions. Check the product's key terms for the deposit asset, token received, valuation currency and redemption asset.
